SECTION 03
Checks
I UNDERSTAND
- How lead enters the body (inhalation and ingestion) and its health effects
- Lead status must be confirmed or presumed before disturbing coatings
- Prohibited methods: dry sanding / grinding, open flame, blasting, compressed air, dry sweeping
- H-class extraction and fit-tested RPE with a fit check every use
- No eating, drinking, smoking or vaping in the lead-control zone
- Decon and take-home contamination controls
- Health monitoring is risk-based and practitioner-led; reports are confidential and provided to me
- Pregnancy / breastfeeding / planning pregnancy — ideally no workplace lead exposure; I may raise this confidentially
- My stop-work authority when controls fail
Sign-off: Worker. Each completed record is audit-stamped with user, time, project and revision.
